Video Cloud Basics: Activating and Deactivating a Video
The Status column in the Media module indicates whether the video has finished processing. Active videos can be played in a Brightcove Player; deactivated videos cannot. Deactivating a video does not remove it from the list.
Steps
- Select the checkbox next to the video. The bulk-action bar appears at the bottom of the page.
- Click More actions (the three-dot icon) on the bulk-action bar.
- Click Activate or Deactivate. The menu item shows Deactivate when the video is active, and Activate when it is inactive.
You can also activate or deactivate a single video from the More actions (three-dot) menu at the top-right of the video details page.
